Develop and roll-out standardised activity based costing processes

Connect the sales and purchase transactions of multiple platform entities

From these, construct a SQL Datacube that woud allow construction of an “end-to-end” profitability analysis model (at product, customer and channel level)

Build and roll-out Qlikview dashboard outputs for management showing end-to-end product and customer profitability

Rollout across Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany, UK, Canada and USA

SOLUTIONS

Built and rolled out Cost Allocation Models (“heatmaps”) across all connected interco parties to allow “true” costs of interco supply to be determined and pulled through to Operating Company, at sales invoice item level of detail

Developed centralised Datacube

Developed suite of Qlikview Dashboards, providing end-to-end profitability insight by product, customer, region, vertical, and salesperson

MAJOR BENEFITS

In-scope Operating Companies now know the true profitability of products by customer and channel and where the profits are being made along the supply chain

By understanding the true end-to-end commercials of their sales, Operating Companies can now take a more proactive approach to pricing and product strategies.

The Group expects to see net margin improvements of €2.0m annually as a result of the implementation of this toolkit.
